160 Fireclay

The Fireclay District is a redevelopment project that is converting a dilapidated warehouse and manufacturing area into a high density, mixed-use community conveniently located along the UTA Trax (light rail) line. The 160 Fireclay concept seen here consists of 800 for rent and for sale dwelling units in four-story mixed-use buildings over podium garage structures, surface parked three-story garden apartments, and three-story market rate townhomes. The land plan concept is based on Transit Oriented and Traditional Neighborhood Design principles, utilizing a tree-lined backbone entry boulevard terminating at a round-about with focal views of a 2 acre lineal park. The mixed-use and residential buildings are organized in a traditional street block pattern.
